The excitement for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's royal wedding was at an all-time high when they released their engagement photo back in December 2017. Now it looks like newly-engaged couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are channeling the royal duo for their latest photoshoot. 

Chopra and Jonas were photographed by Markle and Harry's engagement photographer Alexi Lubomirski while attending a New York Fashion Week event for Ralph Lauren on Friday. Everything from the pose to Chopra's hand-placement looked strikingly similar to the royal couple's photo.

Chopra is friends with the duchess and was in attendance at the royal wedding in May, so perhaps she turned to her friend for a little inspiration. Whether it was intentional or not, people were quick to point out how similar the two photos looked. 

Based on the reaction, it looks like Chopra and Jonas are drumming up enough excitement for a hugely anticipated wedding event of their own.
