Shay Mitchell wants everyone to know she definitely didn't fake her vacation to China.

The "Pretty Little Liars" star was accused of posting photos that didn't belong to her to Instagram while she was on a recent trip to Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Now, apparently responding to the scandal, Mitchell posted a pair of photos of herself in Hong Kong with the caption "I was here."

Whether Mitchell was actually in China was never in doubt. She posted photos of herself there already.

In dispute is why she posted pictures that didn't belong to her, like one of the Terracotta Army army in Shaanxi, or of an intricate door in Shanghai's Yu Garden.

One photo she posted was even taken by someone else in 2014 in Tokyo, which is in Japan and not China.

Mitchell didn't address those concerns. But in addition to posting a photo of herself in Hong Kong, she updated the caption of an old photo to reflect that it was taken by her, and cited sources in two other photos. One of those sources was simply "Pinterest" instead of the photo's copyright holder.

Several photos do not have updated captions. One of them is a photo taken in Shanghai.

An identical photo, without a filter, was posted by another account on Instagram in 2016.

A representative for Mitchell did not respond to questions about whether she sought permission from copyright holders to post these photos.

In another post from Saturday, Mitchell joked about the issue by posting a photo of the Shanghai skyline with herself Photoshopped in and the caption "View so nice it almost looks... fake."
